Meet new students and experience the law like never before on a trip to Nottingham’s fascinating National Justice Museum.
As well as a tour of the museum which covers the Victorian Courtroom, Georgian gaol and ancient cells, discover two fascinating exhibitions:
The Juvenile in Justice exhibition is an exploration of the lives of young people living in prison in the USA. Combining photographs and first-hand testimonials, the exhibition provides a unique insight into the lived experiences and realities of young people impacted by the juvenile criminal justice system.
‘Cecilia’s Story’ is a documentary being shown in the Project Lab. Cecilia Sanderson Mwenda has worked with staff members from NTU to create this documentary which highlights the reality of those going through the asylum system.
Meet us at the specified meeting place, don’t go directly to the venue. We’ll make the easy 10-minute walk together.
This event is organised by NTU Arts – the University’s extra-curricular arts programme.
Tickets
Tickets are half price for NTU students (usually £12.05) and are limited so please only book if you’re able to attend.
The Ticket Source reference/confirmation that you will receive from NTU Arts is NOT your ticket for entry to the National Justice Museum, this will be arranged on arrival.
If you can no longer make it, please let us know so we can open up the opportunity to other students.
If you have a question about this event, please get in touch.
